Tiaki means to care and protect. The Tiaki Promise is a commitment to care for New Zealand, for now and for future generations. New Zealand is precious, and everyone who lives and travels here has a responsibility to look after it

As its guiding environmental value, Brewbus recognises the importance of Kaitiakitanga (guardianship and protection) as our guiding principle in our own responsibility for the management of the environment to ensure ongoing future guardianship, protection, preservation or sheltering of the land and waterways.

New Zealand is precious, and everyone who lives and travels here has a responsibility to look after it. That is why Brewbus is committed to the Tiaki Promise, which is a commitment to care for New Zealand, for now and for future generations. Brewbus mitigates the use of plastic by using canned water and supports the breweries that have processes to mitigate their waste too.

Charity: Support Local

Over the years Brewbus has taken every opportunity it can to give back to the local communities. Whether it be vouchers for school gala days, charity events or volunteering for Clean Up NZ Week. 

At the start of 2020 Brewbus teamed up with local brewery Slab Brewing for them to brew a charity focused beer. This was no ordinary beer as the cans said it was a fruit bowl, crowd pleasing, philanthropic tropical pale ale. All of the profits from the sale of this brew were donated to a local youth charity.
